Besides the standard micro structure etching we use a lot of different methods to investigate the material constituents

• Sulphur print according to Baumann
• Phase differentiation martensite/bainite
• Bechet-Beaujarad-etchant to determine the former austenite grain size in hardened material
• Rolling direction/ macrostructure
